Hvalpsund Net stocks a wide range of three-stranded POLYSTEEL cordage, which type of cordage is one of the best in today’s market. The advantage of POLYSTEEL is among other things its considerably higher breaking strength than traditional ropes as PP film ropes and nymflex.
The advantages of using POLYSTEEL compared with traditional cordage are:
• It is stronger - its breaking strength is 40% higher
• It weighs 20-30% less – which makes it easier to handle and work with
• Its surface is softer and therefore more gentle to handle
• Its stretch is smaller
• Its breaking strength is not reduced if the rope becomes wet
• It is UV stabilized
