AquaGrid

Hvalpsund can supply cage nets made from Aquagrid material. The Aquagrid material was developed by the dutch company "Ten Cate". This material consists of woven polyester fibres with a PVC coating. The coating gives the fibres a very smooth surface - which can help preventing fish bites and fouling. It also means easier cleaning of the nets - when they do get fouled.

Especially for cod farming the Aquagrid material has been usefull - as this predator fish likes to bite and chew on regular netting.
